The main aim of the Proficiency Tests on detection of Salmonella is to evaluate the performance of the NRLsNational Reference Laboratories -Salmonella for their ability to detect Salmonella in different matrices in the presence of competitive microorganisms. For this, the EURLEuropean Union Reference Laboratory -Salmonella provides per study detailed procedures in a Protocol.
